"Juno"
(registered name to be determined)
(Pomerol
x Xceptshahnally Maid) It's a girl! A
bee-ooo-tifull girl!. A few days early though - around 5 a.m. on February
26, 2008. This finely featured young lady is a full sibling to
The Bronze RF
and Maid of Honour RF. She is much like her
siblings - a big, beautiful
and bold chestnut. She appears to have inherited her
sire's incredible neck and is on the whole a very typey Arabian foal - dishy
face, tippy ears, short-coupled with a long length of hip, long legged and very
strong right from the get-go. And we won't complain about the markings -
check her out! And did we say she has an amazing appreciation for people? The dam, an Xceptshahn daughter, is out of a double Three-B-Rasheik++
daughter, and has been a wonderful producer for us whether by Pomerol or
by Amurath Baikal. Sweepstakes nominated. |

"Carley" (registered name to be determined)
(Pomerol
x Meddea KA) A filly!
Foaled 3:04 a.m., March 18, 2008 - Another Pomerol look-alike!
Amazing the consistency of this stallion. She's a tall, extremely
long-legged chestnut with a really pretty face marking and two small whites
behind. Still very young, but what seems most noticeable at this point is the
lovely laid back shoulder and long, high set on neck, and obvious overall
quality. By Russian
Stallion Pomerol out of Meddea, by the Straight Russian *Ahmed. We've come to be amazed
at Pomerol's ability to produce consistent quality by different types of mares.
Meddea is beautiful, very correct with a lovely head and neck and a halter
horse's top line. Sweepstakes nominated. Inquiries invited. |
|

|
"Paris" (registered
name to be determined) (Pomerol x Aliah Nazada) - Three for three - we're batting a thousand - another filly! Foaled March 22, 2008,
9:42 p.m. - A huge chestnut filly with a star and two short hind socks.
Long legged, beautiful bone, this filly appears to be very short coupled with a
high set on elegant neck and extremely short backed. Having seen
many foals over the last thirty odd years, we'd say this one looks pretty
special. Her dam is an Arabian Horse World Aristocrat. Pomerol, her
sire, boasts one of the finest Russian pedigrees and is doing one heck of a
consistent job as a breeding horse! Sweepstakes nominated. |

(Pomerol x FS Betty Grable)
- A beautiful chestnut filly - four for four -
fillies and chestnuts all! Foaled April 22, 2008,
4:31 a.m. EDT (right on time, too). This Pomerol baby out
of a Padrons Psyche daughter, really is a beauty.
A very pretty head, dishy, with a wide but lovely blaze, and,
count them, four white socks.... And, as we have come to expect, a
gorgeous, long legged, long necked fancy and fine
filly. |

(Xceptshahn
x Karma Lee) ETA May 18, 2008 - We are hoping for colour!
We first saw Karma Lee as a weanling and have been hoping we would have
the opportunity to lease her. This 16.1 hh paint mare is very
colourful and very correct. With Xceptshahn's ability to enhance
quality and athleticism, we are looking forward to a dynamite partbred
baby.... |
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
(Earl Grey
x MDA Kaladdinn) ETA May 21, 2008 - We think this will be an
excellent match - with Kelly's proven ability to produce size, looks, and
athleticism combined with Paddy's knack for siring beautiful, short
coupled, long legged, long necked athletic babies.... |

(Xceptshahn
x FS Betty Grable) - Easy Rider RF (registered name TBD)
- Dark bay purebred Arabian Colt, foaled 1:22 a.m., Friday, April 13,
2007. Two weeks overdue and worth the wait... A tall, strong,
upright bay colt with a pretty star, a small snip and low whites - two
hinds and one left front. Typical of our Xceptshahn (by Bey Shah+)
babies, you can see the size and quality on
"Harley" right away -
long legs, a short body, a beautifully set on shapely neck, pretty face
and those great Xceptshahn tippy ears. With the prettiness,
correctness and quality that Betty Grable possesses, this is sure to be
another star.... The Bey Shah+ / Padrons
Psyche cross has produced some of the top show horses in North America for
many years. With national champions in both halter and performance
on both sides of the pedigree, coupled with Xceptshahn's ability to
consistently produce beautiful, talented horses, this baby will be no
exception.... |

A Sensation RF (A
Temptation x Hearts Afire RF (x Afire Bey V)) - Not to
be outdone by any of her peers, "Enya" waited a good three weeks longer
than average to foal a very pretty grey colt - on Monday, April
16, 2007 at 10:25 iu the evening. This colt has a beautiful
continuous star, strip and snip with two low front white socks and a
long shapely neck (you can see him bridled already!) with a well laid back
shoulder. Long fine legs and short body, This cross, the A Temptation / Afire Bey V cross, is having magical results.
Hearts Afire, by Afire Bey V is out of the multi English Pleasure Champion NV Masira (x Bey
Shah+). Masira's dam was one of the top halter, English Pleasure and
Pleasure Driving horses of the California circuit in the early seventies.
Congratulations to the Davidson and Falls family on the acquisition of this
beautiful baby. |

"Brandy" (Shipped Speed x Betshesable)
Foaled
April 18, 2007 at 11:08 p.m - a beautiful black bay filly, strong, correct
and personable - the first baby of a big handsome Standardbred mare owned by Bob and Nancy Drew
of Smiths Falls. This
baby is bound to trot circles around our Arabs! Her dam, whose barn
name is "Nancy" showed a lot
of talent and speed before an early injury ended her racing career. |

(Afire
Bey V x Simply The Best) Right on time - a bay filly on April 19, 2007
at 1:56 in the a.m. Very pretty face with a big star and thin strip,
one hind with a snip of white. Very tall and long legged with a
shapely neck you would expect from both Simply and Afire Bey V.
Typey arab foal - short coupled and a tail that curls over her back. We are so very
excited about this Afire Bey V baby. Tim and Marty Shea of Shea
Stables in Michigan have a full sister that is both extremely talented
under saddle - and beautiful! Simply is one of our most beautiful
mares and is an excellent producer for Rideaufield Farms. |

The Bronze RF
"Fonz" (Pomerol x
Xceptshahnally Maid) - Purebred Chestnut Colt - foaled 1:00
a.m., February 9, 2006 He's here...! Our first Pomerol baby!
With much anticipation, many have awaited the birth of the firstborn Canadian
Pomerol baby. Well - it was worth the wait - he is outstanding. He
is the culmination of four generations of Rideaufield breeding and he is
gorgeous! Extremely long legged and long, shapely high set on neck, with a
great set of ears, this colt is short coupled and long hipped. At three
days of age, when the adjoining photos were taken, this baby appears to be an outstanding mover, with a strong
trot reminiscent of his dad's. He shows a remarkable amount of confidence
and poise in his motion , carriage and attitude. And, if one could order
markings, he has just what you would order.... We could not be more
delighted.... Sweepstakes nominated.

Love Letters RF (Baske Afire x Pretty Woman+) - Pretty Woman+ has given us a filly!
This, her first
foal ever and she is by Baske Afire. She arrived at 9:45 p.m., March 3,
2006. After an hour and seven minutes and several tumbling attempts - she
just popped up, stood up and stayed up. She then started doing her
sporadic scoots around the foaling stall, really wanting to MOVE. We are
very proud of mom, who, although she squealed out of discomfort at the new
arrival's first attempts to nurse, really took to this new thing in her life.
We thought Julia might have had more of a problem, but nature just seemed to
overtake.... The nickers exchanged between the two were very heartwarming,
particularly those from mother to daughter...
Typical of Arabian foals, this baby is very pretty, with cute
tippy ears, a beautiful, but narrow, star, strip and snip. We are quite
sure she is chestnut (out of two bays!) with four whites - one of the hinds a
little longer than the others. Short coupled, with long, fine legs,
straight and correct as can be. Upright neck coming beautifully out of the
shoulder with a lovely hook in just the right place. Pretty eyes - fine,
fine muzzle. Add to this what appears to be personality you could only
hope for - friendly, inquisitive and persistent.
Pretty Woman+ is an accomplished show mare. From the time she entered the show ring as a yearling, Pretty Woman+
has rarely been defeated. Probably the winningest show mare in
Canada, Pretty Woman+ was, again in 2004, named Eastern Canadian Breeders
Champion Mare for the third consecutive year! This win followed on
the heels of her being named Region 16 Champion Mare both in the Open
and Amateur Division! Pretty Woman+
has distinguished herself as a Legion of Honour award mare.
Baske Afire, the baby's sire is still a young stallion, but has
been consistently siring babies that are winning at halter all over the country.
At Scottsdale, in the regions and at Nationals. As his get mature, you
will undoubtedly see many of them under saddle. Watch for Pretty Woman's Baske
Afire baby in a show ring soon.... Sweepstakes nominated.

Xceptshahn
To The Rule (Xceptshahn x Forever Ember) -
Another star Xceptshahn baby! "Bentley" was foaled at 4:45 p.m. on March 28, 2006.
This beautiful baby has taken the best from both his sire and dam. Forever
Ember, a Cease Fire+++ daughter and Region 17 Top Five Mare is out of our
Regional Champion Mare, MDA Kaladdinn. His sire, Xceptshahn, is
consistently producing horses who are capable of winning both in hand and
under saddle. This colt will be no exception. He is tall, elegant,
with a beautiful length and shape to his neck. A very fancy mover.
Mmother is proudly owned by George and Eleanor Leslie , recently of Nova Scotia.
"Bentley" is now at home with his new mother, Lisa Morgan-Lavigne of Jasper, ON.
Sweepstakes nominated. See this young fellow's

Zane Grey RF
(Earl Grey x Meddea K.A.) - a colt... foaled at 1:28 a.m. April 25, 2006. Meddea
took an extra two weeks to foal, but she seemed to have used the time
wisely - this little guy is BIG. Probably a bay, with
beautifully matched hind socks and a large star . Small, pretty
ears, strong and upright with very long beautifully formed legs.
Personality - very much a people horse and very persistent in
dealing with his mother. His dam, Meddea, is an absolutely super mom
who skilfully positions herself and her baby to meet his nutritional
requirements.... The most striking thing about this 'Paddy" baby is his
very, very long legs, especially so in proportion to his very short
coupled body. Sweepstakes nominated. |
 |
Vegas RF (Xceptshahn x MDA
Kaladdinn) - a colt - foaled 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006.
We felt this baby could be one of the stars of the 2006 foal crop - and
that he is! Bay, with a star and two whites behind. Very tall,
long legged with a smooth short coupled body, this colt has a high set on
archy neck and a beautiful face with little ears. Definitely
going to be a big=time star and one to watch for! This colt would
make a wonderful addition to anyone's show string and breeding programmed
- but it's too late for the resto of you - Leslie Lloyd has acquired this
youngster for herself. We'll be seeing both Vegas and Leslie soon in
a show ring .... Sweepstakes nominated. |

Ice Capades RF (Earl Grey x Coming Up Roses) A
beautiful bay, full sister to our multi Regional and Eastern Canadian Breeders
Champion, Peppermint Paddy RF. Foaled June 11, 2006. Long
neck, huge eyes and just a super super pretty filly. Coming Up Roses has
produced a US Top Ten Futurity Filly and a multi Regional Champion. This
youngster looks every bit as promising. Sweepstakes and National
Futurity nominated. |

Nevada RF
(Xceptshahn x Alia Nazada)
Gorgeous bay filly foaled 7:25 a.m., June 19, 2006. She is very reminiscent
of Colorado RF in looks and attitude. We must say however, that her
markings compare to her multi Regional and Eastern Canadian Breeders Champion
sister, Pretty Woman+ - two white hinds and one right front, albeit on the
opposite front. You just have to look at her to know she will be a star...
Sweepstakes and National Futurity nominated. Enquiries
invited. |
