BOARDING SERVICE

Rideaufield Boarding Service offers the following:

  • beautiful, bright, airy, dust-free indoor arena

  • 70' round pen and large outside sand ring

  • 34 box stalls in total of which about half are made available to outside horses

  • outdoor board with loafing sheds with or without access to the arena

  • access to beautiful, quiet trails

  • 30 years experience breeding and caring for horses

  • knowledgeable horse people on the farm at all times

  • superior veterinary support always on call

  • expert farrier support

  • a deeply felt love of horses and the desire to treat all as our own

While we are not a riding or lesson stable nor do we offer coaching or training, boarders are free to engage the services of their own coaches and trainers.  Because we do not offer lessons there is  an increased availability of arena time to boarders.

Attention to detail is of utmost importance for your horse's health and well being.  More than thirty years experience of looking after our own top show and breeding horses has taught us much.  We offer this experience and caring to  our clients horses as we would our own.

The picture above shows a partial view of the farm.  On the left you see the main barn which has 14 box stalls including a foaling stall with a closed circuit camera.  On the right you see our indoor arena / barn.  The arena area - to the back of the structure - is 120' x 60' with excellent dust free sand footing.  A 48' x 60' section in the front of this building is devoted to box stalls, of which there are 12, a feed room, a tack room and a viewing room both of which are heated and a loft for hay.  Not shown in the above picture is the 'front barn' to the left of the main barn which has 8 stalls.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE MONTHLY RATE (add 5% GST)
Indoor board - includes daily turnout,  blanketing where required, two feedings daily and all the hay your horse needs, indoor arena access $500.00
Outdoor board - free choice hay,  access to indoor arena $275.00

 

FOALING SERVICES

Foaling your mare in 2008? Consider letting us do it for you. 

We are prepared to foal out mares of all breeds - from ponies to warmbloodu - in 2007 we had a hackney mare and foal and a standardbred mare and foal on the farm that were foaled out in the Spring.

 Please call us for space availability.

 

TRAILERING

In addition to offering trailering to our own boarders for shows, trips to the vet  and other moves, we have  a limited residual  capacity for trailering outside horses.  If you think we can be of service in this regard, please give us a call.  We may  be able to help.
